| Yeahh I know this is funny but I can't throw backside shuvs. I can do front shuvs, front bigs, backside 180s, front 180's.....everytime I throw backside shuvs the board just does a rocket air under me and does not spin. I used to skateboard for a long time..... Idk if my skate style is getting in the way or what but it really makes me mad. Any help? |

maybe open your stance up a little and hang your back toe off of the toeside edge of the board a little bit. gives you more leverage. just kick back and wait for it to come around. you don't ride with fins do you?

think about scooping the board with your back foot and throwing the board out in front of you... if its shooting out the back your shuv'n before you get your pop.
