what is the difference between blind and swich

blind is when u land switch with the handle behind ur back in the hand furthest from the boat (like no handle pass) and switch is just landing switch. at least thats what i think... Confused

There is no blind. Switch is starting a trick riding opposite of your normal stance (right foot forward if you are left foot forward).

Spins can be done frontside or backside, frontside 180s don't require a handle pass, but the backside 180 does.

fakie is legitimate, but not so much with wakeskating. Unless you're kidding.

people used (and continue to use) blind as a synonym (sp)--like blind 180, or a blind rotation.

it's not really landing blind, it's backside 180 you just have to do a handle pass or land wrapped.

and fakie is 100% legitimate in skateboarding, not so much wakeskating.

There are a few times when fakie can be used, since it's a reference to a riding position; i.e. Front board to fakie. But anything called half-cab on a wakeskate, which is a reference to popping off of the nose from a fakie position, isn't goodness.

anyone ever feel out the wake and try riding with your eyes closed??
pretty crazy feeling, i've done a few blind i/o's, the anticipation of landing is scary.

actually half cab refers to a cab 360...which is a switch 360. a half cab is starting switch and landing regular. anything over a 180 is called a cab 540 for example. popping off the nose on a skateboard is either a nollie or fakie ollie. get it right
