|
|
| i have the tav2 on a 9.0 honda. when i was out testing this weekend, after you start the motor it pulls some. i have enough force to hold it back, but my wife does not. so what i told her to do was pull a little extra onto the ground. so when she started it, it would pull the slack up while i get ready. i read the manual on the tav. but it doesnt give to much adjustment info. i adjusted idle on motor but didnt help. it just died from lack of gas. any advice on adjusting?? |

use it more and the belt will wear down so it does it less but all tavs pull back a little when in idle. _________________ HOTDOGS! |

no when the engine is on the axle will spin at least a little. This is why you need a CC or TAV so you will have a pseudo-neutral. |

| It works off of RPM's and the TAV2 is made for a 8hp motor max. Since you are using a 9hp the extra rpm's may be what is causing the problem. |

| yeah its will be fine, plus usually at idle speed the spool is not going that fast or with alot of power behind it it will stop if there is a bit of tension on the line. it gets better over time, plus once the engine warms up and warms the TAV up too its gets better. |
