Buying a nicer camera will only make your crap look like higher quality crap. It's still gonna suck, you'll just get to see it in HD. You need to start focusing on technique rather than thinking that a new camera will automatically make your shots look pro. Now if you have a really shtty camera then yeah, you should think about upgrading, but for the most part anything shot during the middle of the day will look like absolute crap (either blown out highlights, or really dark shadow detail). So try to shoot in the morning and in the evening if possible to keep the lighting a bit softer.

Oh, and invest in a nice tripod! Laughing
