So last night I gather up some folk to chill on the lake, party and do some riding. Where I live there is no wakeskate scene. My frineds come out with me when I go and they kick it while I ride. Most of my friends are good skateboarders and they the think wakeskating looks pretty rad, so one of my buddies decided it was time to give it a try. Naturally I was stoked so I gave the best verbal pointers I could and sat off the shore with him while he tried. It took a few pulls and a lot of dragging through the water, but after some tries he poped up and started riding. The smile on his face was fiznackling priceless and I knew the feeling that was running through him. It was truly an epic night, and we stayed out until it was so dark we could barely see the dock when heading in. My waters seem to be emotionless and the lake I ride on is so hood, it used to be a sand pit years ago. There are a couple groups of kooks that wakeboard behind bayliners that are equipt with like 3 grand worth of tower and stereo shizzle, so my stomping grounds needed some fresh stoke. It was an awesome night, I love seeing people ride for the first time! The water was warm and glassy and she got what she needed.

Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

i think i know how you feel. i have a friend who's an amazing skateboarder that could never get up wakeskating. he tried like twice last year. this year he tried again with some instruction from my other friend floating next to him in the water, and he got up like 4th try Smile

he acutually really likes wakeskating now its really cool when one of your "normal" friends becomes a new riding buddy Wink

i got my friend up who i had to taught to wakeboard a few years ago, before i made the best switch in my life to wakeskating. when he got up wakeskating he was excited to fall so he could get back up, and after time hed say one more try, and went for about ten more. im bringing him riding again this weekend, and im stoked to share the sport with him again, best feeling in the world is teaching them to skate.
