I need help picking out a set up..I only ride like 1-2 weeks of the year but wanna save some money and grab a board for myself..instead of renting something worth less than I paid to rent it for a week..

i was thinking something like this would be good for how often i ride

http://boardersmall.com/xcart/product.php?productid=18006

or

http://boardersmall.com/xcart/product.php?productid=18534&cat=527&page=1

...trying to keep it around 200, as i will only get use out of it on vacations

By any means possible DO NOT pick up a capita from last year. They had a lot of problems with there boards and had a major recall.

I just picked up a new Lib Tech T-Rice BTX, am excited to try it out soon

If you are looking for a used board, I've got a Burton Custom 158 that has been used pretty good... got a lot of scratches on the top sheet, and one kink in the nose that you might want to sand down a little bit, but the base is in great shape it it is a good board that I'm looking to get rid of for a decent price

im an average rider and love my Burton Twin. Its a mid-wide and rides well at high speeds, it kinda chatters when you go too fast if your makin a nice big carve but thats not what its made for. Its really fun in the park cus its big. I can't wait for my snowboard trip this year.

OH ive really enjoyed my P1 Burton Bindings. esp that toe cap!

Union bindings are definitely awesome. I have the Airblaster edition ones and love em.

make sure to get a true twin so you can get down in the park and drop some Smash

BenBuser, ya dude union bindings are so sick!

i've got two pairs of them. my bro has the airblaster ones too, i think those are my favorite bindings they've made so far.

oh one more piece of advice, never get Ride bindings. they = junk.
