Phillip Basino took the first place position in the final day of competition on the 2004 SeaDoo watercraft Pro Wakeskate Series. The final win in Irvine, CA also put Basino in the lead to win the Season Championship.

I don't remember exactly, but it was sick. As I recall (could be wrong) nobody landed a kickflip on sunday, Brandon Thomas killed it too, on top of being the one of the nicest guys I've ever met along with Thomas Horrell

i have it on video from the photo boat. his final run was quite impressive.
and nobody landed a kick flip on sunday for sure. there were quite a few attempts, some ending up with helmets thrown and 4 letter words...
oh does anyone know why joey white got a second run? were the judges not ready or what?

how many ppl at the beginning of the year would have said philip basino was gonna win the championship. I don't think anybody unless they were friends with him or something. Just shows how many guys are provin what they got

yeah they totally screwed up, because people were still tring to do the jr. mens awards- al least thats what every body was saying on the ground at the event

phil deserves it, when he use to ride at owc all the time with danny molina, he would always give me props and shizzle. hes cool.

| Phillip definately deserves every little bit of that title. Watching him ride, whether it's comp. or just behind the jet ski/ boat/ cable/ whatever, he never ceases to amaze me with his fluid and effortless style. So I'm not just saying that b/c we're friends. That and he's the most modest and humble person out there. Guess there's no need for me to be like "watch out for him" b/c you all already know... |
