Yesterday I was putting my boat on the trailer, and the trailer is kind of a s.hitty and the bottom of the boat hit metal pretty hard. Today I was looking at it and there is a decent sized chunk out of the fiberglass, I can't really tell if its a hole or not. Anyone know a quick fix? Maybe some liquid fiberglass that I can fill it with and sand it down? I know there are a lot of crafty/ghetto inclined people here so share the thoughts.

If there is a hole you are going to need to cloth and resin it, but if it is just a chip/chunk you could use bondo/body filler

temporary fix, silicone or caulk ?

use 5200 caulk, its a marine caulk that will dry even underwater. 3M makes it and u can get it at any hardware store or marina

SwissArmyKnife, Are those materials common at a hardware store? or is it a special marine grade?
coricluster, Will the 5200 caulk fill a small hole? (if it is a hole)
