Jellyfish

They are the one thing I hate more than manatees and they're EVERYWHERE in the bay/channel. I got 3 runs in and stung 4 times.

But the good that came from the dreaded jellyfish is that we found a pretty epic spot where it's always glass and no jellyfish Smile

oh i know that is the worst feeling EVER stung like crazy and you have no way of defending yourself

i dont have to worry about jellys, i have to watch for water moccasins and gators.

I have some sunscreen thats labeled as jellyfish repelant, dont know if it works though.

There are freshwater jellyfish but I've only seen them at the surface in really cold water and they are very small.
