so basically i go back and forth between skating and boarding depending on my mood or take two sets and kill both. anyways, threw an off toe 5, fractured two ligaments in my foot or something, and i cant walk. being that i love being on the water and the amazingness of wakeskating so i went. my front foot is the f'd up one and i couldnt even reposition it, but i managed an ollie, some decent slayshes, and had to get in. anyways, to finish my story that had nothing to do with my original intent when i started this post is that i was gimping to my bed a minute ago with a glass of water and my open macbook when some agua splashed on the screen and now there's a discoloration somewhat where the water landed. anyway, im stacked up with some white fish aka lortab for a while. im still down for takin the boat out to skate so if anyone s in mobile pm me. i wonder if everyone gets pissed they read this.

mojo,
That's pretty epic. I am the same, but i wakeboard a lot more than skate, mainly because i'm at a point where i am getting wake 2 wake, and feel comfortable on the board. I am at a point on the skate which contains a lot of falls. So it evens out.

I try and do both! Unfortunately we don't have the smoothest water out here and the skate is a lot harder to ride sometimes... I should convince my dad to get up like we used too!
Anyways on the wakeboard I'm starting to learn backrolls and have been riding switch a looot. I don't have a wakeboarding boat but I've still gotten close on the backroll.

I enjoy doing both but am definitely much better strapping...
I go back and forth when I get burnt out on one, then i do the other for a while, its a good system

oh and yes, wakeboarding is bad for you, the meniscus in my right knee might as well be nonexistent and riding in general has really messed up my left wrist..
It takes about 3 or 4 days to straiten out after i ride and it happens. So far this has happened three times and it really hurts
