Yeah a couple years ago there was a news story about some kid who drowned in very shallow water, being pulled by like a 4 wheeler or something like that in a roadside ditch.

some kids have died from amoebas but that isn't directly relating to wakeskating. i know for sure that wakeboarders have died doing raleys and stuff. i'm sure someone has died wakeskating,or else they wouldn't need warning labels Smash

Are you trying to decide if you are going to start wakeskating or something?

The kid who died ditchskating got sucked into a colvert and drowned.

The guy who broke his leg was actuall an older guy who split and broke his femur and died from internal bleeding at the hospitol.

And if you wanna know the truth, all wearing a comp vest does is give you confidence, if you get knocked out with one on, chances are you're going to die.

Cory kraut was a pro wakeboarder back in the day who got knocked out without a vest and drowned, there was an avid wakeboarder in louisiana who died not even a year ago on the river me and the bayou boys ride everyday, and guess what? He was wearing a vest! And he still sunk!

But hey, that's with anything... A lot of people die skating and riding bmx too, I almost died twice on a bike... I actually almost died a lot of times just living, doing normal things. That's all part of life.. Death doesn't ask.

One guy who broke his femur was recovering but he ended up with a blood clot (thrombosis) that broke loose and that's what killed him. It might be the same story as above...but it happened in 2004 or so.
