First off, I think since he retired he should stay retired. Everyone knew even when he retired he still wanted to play. I guess he figured since he's been playing for 17 years and he's coming off a great season, it was a good time to retire. If he wasn't 100%, beyond-a-shadow-of-a-doubt certain that he really wanted to retire, which he wasn't, he shouldn't have retired to begin with.
Secondly, if he really wants to be released then he should be released. The Packers GM said fvck that, and for good reason. I'm sure Aaron Rodgers would be a decent QB, but (no offense to him) he didn't really play much. I don't know why Brett would wanna leave the system he's been familiar with for almost 16 years to go somewhere else, but I'd love to see what he could do on another team.
P.S. It's Favre. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

I thought I read that the packers wanted to do a trade, and not just release him without getting something in return. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

The GM denied that they would be letting him go, trade or release. He also denied that if he were to play he would have to be a backup. But who knows, Brett's been denying his return all summer, so anything is possible at this point. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

DMoneyy, I was just thinking the other day about how badass that would be. Tavaris isn't bad, but Favre and Peterson on the same team is fvckin horrifying (for other teams). But yea, if the Packers are gonna trade him it's not going to be to a team in their division, especially the Viks. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |
