hey I think I'm getting the byerly legacy next week. is it a good skate???????

i dont like it, but a couple of people i know do. I would just stick with a wood concave if i were you. What are you riding now?

I wouldn't, I hate the concave, and unless you're kinda "big" it's tricky to get used to. I had to practically have my back foot hanging off the tail, just to throw 3-shuvs.

its different than any other board out there.

wakeninja, Dont let these fools tell you a board sucks. Honestly i rode the byerly for a while the board is good. You just gotta like it. I liked it shredded the gnar out of it at owc and behind the ski never showed any wear.

Ride it and see yourself. Its a different ride then alot of boards but if u like it can be really fun.

i've been riding the 42 since it came out. i'm 5'7 150. it takes a week to get used to with so much freakin concave and it is grippier than the 2.0 i use the shank fin b/c the blunt is really the imperial fin. i don't like woodskates personally. composite is the way to go, ask ronix and integrity. anyway, it's a good board and it only costs 240. unlike the 350sst

yeah the byerly almost feels like you're locked in
the kick tails are nice give you more pop in the flats
the board tracks well if you like that feel opposed to the more slippery feel
overall i think you'd better stick with the wood concave
but, if you're stuck on getting the byerly better off with the 42 the 39 is too small for that shape
