what is the toeside i/o trick he does after the w2w front 1.

is it a ts kastarial or a ts 270 shuv revert?

I haven't seen the footage but imo you can't do 270 or 90 shuv reverts. depending on where it's caught i'd either say it's a 360 shuv to revert or a castaerial

I just watched it. He caught his 3 shuv at 270, landed, and then reverted the last 90. I'd still call it a 3 shuv revert...

it's not a castarial because that's a full shuv with a body varial (not a revert). This trick clearly has a revert, and whilst it may not have been exected in the best fashion, I would not trip over the 270 shuv part. 270 shuvs and 90 shuvs are stupid names.

I just call it a front lip, shuv out. My one concession is a front lip, 270 shuv out, or like a 270 shuv, front board. I subscribe to the vernacular of my forefathers, and in turn, I spread their message.

With the actual shuv-revert business, there are different ways to do them. Some people will do a full shuv and then revert (stevie williams is one skater I can think of that does them like that). Some will catch at 90 and then revert. Maybe compare it to bigspin styles and techniques. Not everyone catches and rotates at the same point, but it's still the same trick.

McLovin, the move we are referring to has a backside 3 shuv caught at 270 with a frontside revert. But he also does frontside shuvs with backside reverts. Danny really threw together some interesting tricks for his pro spotlight. It is well worth a viewing, if not more!
