feelnjstfine, No man, not southern FL. Just Tallahassee, Jax, and Orlando. At the time Jax seemed to have a pretty tight music community which was rad. I always thought it would be bad ass to go through S FL though. How are the tunes down there?

brassmonkey, Some really good stuff, but there is some crap too. Seems like the scene ebbs and flows. Right now it seems to be on the upswing as far as quality goes. Not yet back to what it was like in the early/mid 90's hayday but gettin there. How would you describe your tunes?

feelnjstfine, Pretty lame actually. We had an outstanding punk scene around here for a solid chunk of time. But as soon as that drop D chug chug tough guy mosh shizzle got popular it ruined everything. People in the midwest are really really bored, so apparently that fast mosh core is whats been cool. You'd think it would die out after a while, but it hasn't. At least we have Dillinger4 and The Lawrence Arms, etc.. keeping it real in the midwest.
