most people seem to ride at 60ft for rope length. i ride at 75 cuz i cant seem to change the length, i think its too far out cuz the wake at that point is disapating quite a bit off the back of my sea doo. DONT get a ski handle, or atleast not the hard rubber ones. make sure its a foam grip or soft...cuz i got a hard rubber ski handle and my hands are becoming callused and sometimes i have to stop riding just cuz my hands hurt so much i can no longer hold on. get whatever shoes u want, go to payless for all that it matters, just get somethign that doesnt bog ya down in the water.

For shoes, theres the wakeskate specific shoes but you can also just wear any shoe. Ive seen most people wear skate shoes. And for a rope/handle, those Accurate Line Handles (Catalyst, Parks, Zero G) are awesome, and the Jacket (Blue, Fire, Zebra) are solid ropes. Theres alot to choose from. And you don't really need huge wake for wakeskating.

try a byerly handle from accurate, I have a catalyst, and unfortunately I hate to admit it, but his byerly feels better for wakeskating at about half the price Crying or Very sad
