When I started wakeskating, I wore my chucks and they seemed to work fine. Quick drying and light, they served the purpose. As my skills progressed, I could'nt help but think that a good pair of purpose built shoes would be a good thing, so I ordered a pair of Doyle 2's. Man these things hold a ton of water within the padding. When I get home from riding, I hand dry all the water from the padding and immediately put them in the sun to dry. No matter what I do, these things really stink of wet, sour shoes. Anyone have this problem...What to do??? Its probobly too late for these, but maybe I can make provisions in the future... |

Wash your feet....once a month whether they need it or not. Will work. _________________ The above are opinions of NotSoBueno, based on NotSoBueno's life experiences and are not reflective of the opinions of wakeskating.com, posters on wakeskating.com, or readers of threads on wakeskating.com. |

mine don't stink either but they don't dry out fast for sure, here in Montreal the water was still really cold just 2 weeks ago so I was wearing neoprene socks which stinks really bad... so the first 2 times my shoes used to stink even after washing them, but now that the water warms up I don't wear those anymore and it's fine. _________________ ^ barontieri.com ^ |

Not sure about the water logging problem but for the smell take a Bounce static dryer sheet that you use for laundry and rip it in half and put each half in each shoe. Kills the smell, works wonders. _________________ "Wakeskating is...not fun. Its about getting in the water, landin your effin tricks and gettin out."
