Whats up, I'm new to the forum. First off, this is absolutely the best place to come for info on wakeskating; props to Dave for an excellent site.
I have been working a refurbishing my '02 cassestte for the past couple of weeks. It had seen its better days. I completely stripped it down to the bare wood and sprayed on 4 coats of white 2-part epoxy paint. The fith coat was the 2-part epoxy black that revealed the graphic on the bottom. I also found some marine grade non-skid tape for the top. This type of paint gets as hard as gel-coat after about 10 days; pretty amazing stuff. Anyway, I put some pics on my website and will be typing up step by step instructions if anyone is interested.

I would imagine if there were any sharp edges it would scratch. Unlike paint the epoxy will not smear it will only chip and scratches can be removed with fiberglass polish. |
