can someone clarify for me what HYDROSTATIC DRIVE is?
Isn't that what the millenium falcon uses in its hyper-drive?
all jokes aside...seriously, what is that?

used in construction equipment/snow groomers/heavy equipment. the flow of hydrostatic oil is regulated with a swash plate which controls the speed of the final drive. hope that makes sense.
