I need help! I can do kickflips, and land with my front foot, but can't get my backfoot on there. Heelflips, I can get the flip, but not all the time, and alot of times, the board will just fly with my front foot away, and not do anything. Any tips? Would some little video clips help? |

Kickflips- try lifting your back foot up after popping, and work on the flick of your toe, don't slide your front foot up as hard when you do the kickflip- it's tough to describe it, just finese the motion of your front foot so it's not pushing the board in front of you. Try different angles of kicking- everybody has their own way of doing it. This can take a while to figure out.
Heelflips- try and stand up straight and not dip your head way down, that will keep you right over the board, and kicking your frontfoot to the side (straight off the edge of the deck) without as much forward slide.
Sorry if this doesn't help, it's tough to give trick tips without actually being there. Writing about skateboarding is like dancing about arcitecture.

As i cant heel flip consistant this adivce may prove useless but anyway. ALot of the time when the board doesnt spin or flies out from under me i find im not doing an ollie. Another thing i find is it helps with a deck with heaps of concave. Mine has a fair bit so flips are easy. But my friends which is flat no matter how hard i try i cant even get close. THis might be because Im not used to his deck but anyway. Good luck. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

Nobody can tell you how to do a trick. You just have to try it over and over and see what works. keep trying them and try to totally commit to landing. |

Your right, no one can tell you how to do a trick. But you can give them hints on how to do the trick. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas
