nate_, haha i suppose. It just seems like Ontario gets everything first and forgets about the west, so when we get something they want its good to see. Especially when its relatively close to me!! Very Happy

ZoSo, oh i will, i think your gonna like the updates on the ol winch. Maybe when Miller is here we might have to come up for a couple days of riding. Do you know when the Cable Park is opening?

price.dan, I have no idea...I've flipped through their online brochure a few times and couldn't find any specific dates. It looks more like a business proposal right now...I think they're looking at getting sponsors, and if they do that, then they can start building.

I'm in the middle of finishing up final papers/getting ready for final exams right now...but when I get a chance I'll see it I can pop down to the local boardshop and ask them if they know what's up. Otherwise, maybe just try shooting one of the organizers an email...they have them right at the top of the link that Miller posted.

On a side note...I emailed this to a strapper friend...and he said he had a neighbour who is apparently an ex-nfl'r and has loads of cash, just got the rights to an area just outside the city and intends to start construction on a cable park this summer. However, I don't know how reliable this information is.

Either way, we're looking at two opportunities to have a cable park around here. Once I finish up with school I intend to do a little more research and maybe even get directly involved with it.

Once my winch is rockin, it is going everywhere I go.

Once this cable is up and running, I am planning a trip with stops at Long Lake on the way there and back.

As of right now, May Long I will be at Long Lake and July 1/08 week.

Ya we got the scenery but when it comes to politics, the country is one sided. Elections are already determined who is going to win by the time we get to vote so it's virtually pointless.

nickl011, It's about 15 minutes south of Winnipeg on Highway 75...if you've ever driven to Winnipeg you've probably passed right through it. From Fargo you would take I29 north until you hit the border...where I29 turns into highway 75.
