David_Roehm, he wants a windsor not a devotid. i don't understand why you devo fans and new fans do this. do you think your helping your favorite company by throwing there name everywhere or letting everyone know what they made? your not. they mfg the boards for these companies for money. so either way they are still getting business. does it just make you feel good to let everyone know that you know where the board came from?
can we just put a sticky in General that says New and Devotid are godsend and are the best wakeskates ever made and everyone should go out and buy as many as possible? that way you guys wont have to post it in every single thread on here because it will always be at the top. |

All this promoting one company over the other is quite the thorn in my right nut. If you like a certain company, congratulations, you have a mind of your own. So do us a favor, next time you feel like saying "yeeeeaaaa devotid/new baby", take a hammer and smash your fingers, that way you wont type that statement that you WILL be flamed for.

canalskater, nickl011, may sound weird, but I completely agree even though I'm part of New. I've seen it happen before on here and had to try and put the flames out before they, fans/loyalist, burned us a little or alot. Hey I'm stoked they are hyped on us,I just don't want them to accidentally harm us by pushing too much. I'm stoked on any company that's out there doin good for our sport. I think if you getting a board you should try and ride as many boards as you can and make your decision on the way it rides, not just on what someone tells you. If they buy one of our boards,rad!. If not, no big deal, at least they are supporting wakeskating and doin it.
So please, for our sake, any one out there that my be a part of this little bit of overzealous rhetoric that's starting to get under peoples skin, chill a bit on pushing too much and sometimes almost hijackin threads. We're stoked on all of ya'll for being stoked on us, it's just a bit much sometimes I mean this is the biggest forum for wakskating and we are glad we're welcome and respected on here, just don't want our welcome to accidentally be worn out by anyone. Hope ya'll understand where I'm coming from, Thanks |
