this is nothing new. Its pretty much hinduism, that understanding you are one with god and understanding oneness, oprah is just trying to pawn it off. I'm in this philosophy of comparative religion class and we just learned about this stuff. Its actually an extremely interesting religion and it has alot of good stuff to follow. Its mostly all about realizing we are all one and really in simple terms, be excellent to eachother.

buddhism is like that too, they have good beleifs and morals, but they won't come to know God through Jesus Christ because they don't think that is the right way. I know that is the only way. why else would God have sent His son to die for us and teach us if not to meet Him? we must have a relationship with Christ to go to the coveted Holy final destination which is Heaven. People think Christianity is all rules- the rules that are set or the commandments in particular are for your good. "do not murder" oh God is being a real drag on us there let me tell you about it. it's not something we want its just there to tell us its sinful. "do not commit adultery" you tell me about one couple that got married and the husband or wife cheated and had an affair and they got divorced where the kids and the parents ended up happy. the rules He makes dfor us are for our good cuz He loves us so much He doesn't want us to get hurt yet gives us free choice to follow Him or be sinful even if you are He will forgive you no matter what you have done. He is not a cruel God but rather a jealous God and wants you to focus on Him first, other things second and third and so on.

Oprah shouldnt be allowed to publicly state who she votes for. Its just not fair to the millions of voters who actually ARE able to form their own opionions.
