05-06 lf impulses

question...which bear is best? no but really is there any difference between the 05 and 06 LF impulses?

05 and 06 had the same shapes. The only difference would be the limited edition aaron reed shape, which basically became the design for the 2007 impulses.

I believe they are both made in China and tend to break easily. I know I cracked my 06 2 weeks after getting it.

MrMarbles, be careful, if you say anything "negative" about LF PRODUCT, you'll catch shizzle from a bunch of a-holes. I broke my 06 Impulse in about a 2-3 week period as well. It still rode, but was cracked. The paint came off in places that never saw a rail. The ply's began to seperate, and the cheap-o grip just peeled of on like me second pull. Not a fan, I am... I do tend to hear that the newer boards are great. I hope so. They've got a great team and I only wish them the best...
Try an 07-08...

One_Wadey, I havent had a chance to ride any of the other 08's LF's but they stepped it up this year for sure. Way better board than anything they have ever put out. Now we have some concave unlike the 07's. The board has supernice pop and releases from the water awesome. I was landing tricks that I never land first try. Best birthday present ever besides the tix to Santana....

bought an 05 a long time ago, used 2 of those then got an 06, then got another 06 sold it got an integrity.
