I need new kicks, I know some of you are or have rocked the DVS wakeskate shoe. How do you like them compared to your standard skate shoe? _________________ The promise of heaven out of reach.

Well when I first started shredding I wore an old pair of uidzero's globes. Those did not drain well and fell apart after a couple months. I then went to some old Adidas Superstars that I used to cut grass. Those were the worst because they didnt drain and had no grip what so ever. After that I got a pair of the DVS Kenyan ABC's and I am still riding in them. So far they drain well and dry well and have held up for several months. I will probably use another pair of mesh DVS's after these wear out. _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

much lighter because they dont hold all that water, my regular skate shoes seemed to get really streched out over time too, and your feet sweat alot less with mesh, when just sitting on the boat waiting to ride. i like the mesh much better overall _________________ I run show where ever I go. |

I rock the Triumphs, And the new Mogan mesh, I even skated in in the dvs all winter because they were so comfortable. Only drawbacks i see to the triumph is that the interior lineing is thin and tears up easy unlike my new nike's which are thick not byerly-burlap thick but thick never the less, and the insoles are extra thin and floppy and tend to shift around on ocasion. |

ive ridden with pretty much every shoe design so far. but my favorite is definently vans slip ons. mesh is great tho. but it seems like every pair of shoes i get that are made of mesh, the interior lineing rips to shreds in like a month. so get some slip ons _________________

I used a pair of DVS Huff 4 runners for a few months after the toe got eaten up from skating and liked them a lot more than the Kenyan ABC. They dried out really quick and don't have any foam so they don't get heavy. |

dvs triumphs ftw
i love them, they feel like nothing on your feet and grip amazing, i've had mine since i started haha, they're thrashed and the soles are slick but i still love how they grip haha
if you want a heavier more substantial shoe go with nikes, i don't feel like my grip is as good though _________________ Team Dream Sleds
