bigtwake, one of my personal favorites is issue 2 from volume wakeskate videos. I think aaron reed probably put together my favorite section from him, not only for the maneuvers, but the over all vibe.
Sfumato if you do not have it already, is a must for every wakeskater.
I would say the decline/linear dvd combo is also good if you want some historical perspective when it comes to progression on a cut down wakeboard and fastforwarding a few years to flat decks and concaves.
I also think RLAND is really good because of the vibe...it's just a different take on what a film can be.
I'm sure there are others, but those that are my favorites that come to mind. You've got some good ones already...I have all of the ones you've listed and they're all entertaining. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

electricsnow, Thanks I had some of thoughs on my list hows fill in the blank and Georges part in Vol. 1. George is now one of my favorite wakeskaters. I was wondering what board he was riding before or after hyperlite Im not sure what it is i believe its a wood concave its not the byerly blend either.
nate_, I was listening to the audio commentary and he mentioned scott in it he didnt say why though. _________________ ..........Oak.......... |

fill in the blanks is an OK movie for me...I don't really watch it anymore. but if you dig george, that'd be a good video to get. He was riding a kampus in that video--a flat deck (generally one of the K series decks)--and he straight up killed it--i'm pretty sure that was the first video to show a backside flip, and of course george did it first (on a FLAT deck). Phillip basino has the opening section and he was also ripping a kampus...I think clint is in there as well and shredding...
I don't remember george's sponsorship pattern much anymore because there was some jumping back and forth. I think it was something like kampus, hyperlite, GB and then byerly...something like that. He was supposed to have a pro model out on GB before he switched back again. If you want to see what it looks like, go to the media center and check out the GB photos from the 2006 surf expo--the model that was supposed to be his is in there.
hmm, I kind of misunderstood your message. but to comment, issue 1 is another good video (it's kind of rough--volume has really evolved over the past 6 issues, but it's good none the less). george really put together a nice section in issue one...I guess one thing that stands out is his wake to wake flip.
another video I forgot about is called "money can't buy." I really dig this one...I think it's underrated. Again, you'll see riding from pretty much anyone you could have wanted to see at the time--there's footage from the first toe jam and that winch gap (and how thomas was the only one to stick anything on the first night, and the a.reed slayed it the next day with his back lip variations)--a section from george, danny, scott (one of my favorites from him--to me, it was at that point that it was really starting to show that he was putting in some serious time on his wakeskate, instead of wakeboarding and wakeskating--and that's not to say that doing both is bad, but WHATEVER! ) Aaron, danny, thomas, steve wahlman, brian grubb...who else? I cannot remember but it's a smorgasbord (sp) of wakeskating talent. And it was put together by papa j, the guy who has helped with the volume vids. I'm pretty sure there aren't any sponsors for that film as well--he did it all on his own. SO SHOW SOME LOVE!!! What, what???
yet another long post...and sorry for the screaming. sometimes I just get so hyped... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com*
