My love hate relationship with hardflips

Ok well i think they are a mad assed lookin trick. Since iv got my bi level, iv been pushin into the kickflips a lot, i got it pretty consistant that eevry time i throw one i get my feet back on the board and i have ridden off from a couple, just couldnt completely pull myself back up.
So yeah today at cable, i throw down a particually nice kickflip, land back on it, fall back drag for a bit let go cause i couldnt hold it. So im like damnit, whatevs this is getting sooo annoying that im sooo close yet just not there, im gonna try a hard flip for fun, why not. I go out, pop it up nice and hard, frontside shuv, kick down, im up nice in the air, board is at 90 and about 3/4 thru the flip im thinkin at this stage man i might land this, spread the legs out ready to try land it bolts......
hang on why arent u rotating anymore. At this point everything like goes into slow motion, i can just feel the board come up between my legs and just smack me sooo hard in the balls. I fall in the water, just layed there for a long time, sooooooooooooooo much pain.
Well im not gonna be fathering kids anytime soon Razz

. Anyone else got one of those moments where u know ur about to get nailed and it feels like time just slows down, cause they really really really really suck
And i still didnt land a kickflip, even though im soooo close

I had some of those moments when trying kflips on my skateboard. It would get too vertical, land on the tail sticking straight up and down and I come down and the board splits my balls in half.

i had one of those moments but i was drunk and so was my friend so he decided to give me a kick in the balls and the worst part was i saw it coming and that whole slow-mo thing happened but it was just to late to move, at least i was drunk so it didnt really hurt for that long until i woke up the next morning

nickl011, Same thing but I was trying to nollie 2 decks and that happened to me. It hurt SO bad.

When I was in high school, I remember ollieing down a 6 stair in our lunch hall, and my board just didn't stay with my feet. It probably looked like a hardflip until I pogo'ed off my taint. I couldn't get a boner for over a week. Hurt so f-ing bad. Ah memories...

i just got hardflips on the tramp.........scared of them in the water .......but i just dont feel confident enough to do it on the water....maybe if my board called me up...took me out to dinner and a movie id be ok with it smacking me around a bit.....but i def understand.....

and speaking of credit carded.....that happened to me with skateboarding learning heelflips.......

i did a nice ball slide on our flat bar where we winch a while back, ollie'd on late and the board caught the beginning of the rail sending me nuts first onto the beach sliding it till the end, I have a pre impact pic somewhere I'll have to look for it. Needless to say things were a little swollen for a few days Neutral
