i'm about 185, so i hope it will work. if not, i'll get some great skinny water fishing out of it, then repower with a 50-75 hp....any other opinions?

i know a 15' whaler can handle a 75 and you can get someone up on a slalom. little boats rule for skating. i wish i had a closed bow 197 for skating and my x2 for boarding but that aint' gonna happen

a 50 hp on a 13' boat should pull you up. just put someone up front to help it plane out.

board2much,
I ride on a 15 or 16 foot boat with a 15 in the spring and winter and i'm 140 and it takes a while but it gets me up. Doubling that would rip me out of the water, i know my brothers 16 foot with a 25 rips me out.

A deep start might be tough, but it should work. A dock start would be no problem though!
