So I guess it's time I gave everybody a little taste of the first of 3 new models to come this summer...

I've kept this whole project under wraps for a while now for quite a few reasons. Over the next two months we'll be doing some final prototyping and dialing things in, over those months I'll keep everybody updated with pictures of all the new product and the process.

So here's a little info to hold you over...

The core: A blend of three different woods assembled in vertical AND horizontal laminates. This means some serious pop!

Multi radiuses rocker: Take the pop of a 5 stage deck make it ride higher in the water, make it as fast and as stable as a traditional 3 stage and this is what you get.

No more Dura Surf! I've always felt like Dura Surf took some of the snap from the wood, making it feel less like a wood deck. I played with this stuff last year and was really happy with the durability and how much it brought out that true wood feeling. Oh and it looks cool when you draw on it with a sharpie too!

D.I.Y!!! Why would you want to draw on your board with a sharpie though? Take artists like Mike Parillo, Jamie Lynn and Quincy Quigg combine all those different styles and you've got Dj GitDown from the OTT! This graphic is seriously ridiculous! I decided why not make the graphic interactive though... So were shipping all these decks in the raw black and white. You get to decide how the colors play out. Besides it gives me a reason to have a really cool coloring contest! Myself and the team will decide the winners and hook them up with a bunch of free Arson gear!

Try it before you buy it! Coming this summer I'll be starting our demo program. It's very simple, go to the website, read the legal mumbo jumbo sign up and we'll charge you $39. In return we'll send you a demo board for you to ride for five days, when your five days are up drop it back in the box stick the return shipping label on the box. If you like the board, place your order and we'll give you a $29 discount on your order... If you decide it's not what your looking for then your out only $39. It's that simple!

So I'll leave you with a few teasers Very Happy

McLOVIN, Hopefully here in the next two months or so things are still too early to know production dates yet and I'm still putting the shop together... Needless to say getting up at 4:00am for work then getting over to my shop to work on decks has been a little tough lately.

BIG shuv, There is just under .75 an inch of concave and kick... it's slightly more than what I did on all the Omen stuff. Most of us have agreed we think that is plenty. When I was designing the concave I was basing it off of the models I made of some of the skateboards I like... essentially the concave is designed very similar to a skateboards.

Hecti036, I use SolidWorks and Rhino... I'm actually starting to learn Vector Works so I can do everything on my Mac. It's pretty sweet software and I'm very anti PC and I despise any version of AutoCad!

Those shots were actually from the SolidWorks viewer on my Mac =)

I'm not familiar with the Nx stuff really.

Very Happy that thing looks bodacious! i may have to try out this "demo" system. Congatz on coming back so fast from omen, i knew you said you'd be coming back, but in wakeskating.com time that usually means like two years. Nothing but happy thoughts for me...
