honestly i dont know what made us think about make the tailgate work like that. it dosnt leave to much room for clearance between the bottom of the winch and the ground but it is just enough for most all situation and yeah it is nice to be able to chill with the tailgate down.

yeah for sure. we have never even seen a winch run before so we wanted to get the mechanics up a going before we put anytime into the frame and body of it. we have a couple ideas but the first thing on the list is getting the arms that hold the rollers rebuilt. they dont allow for many sprockets to work with it so thats going to be switched out before anything gets painted.
