ive been skating since before the water/weather was warm enough this season (first season skating also) and this whole time ive been riding with people who don't skate, or really have an urge to progress..
anyway i was riding yesterday telling my bro 'damn that would kick ass if i had someone to tell me what im doing wrong on landing my shuvs' and 10 minutes later we ride passed a 08 wakesetter with a couple kids skating behind it, one of them being someone i know but never rode with. i throw a shuv, butcher the landing in front of them..then i yelled at them if they knew what i was doing wrong. one kid says 'you are leaning back to far'...bam! i land 4 shuvs in a row for the first time
now i just gotta start riding with them instead of getting swamped on the ski by their wake haha _________________ if theres no future in it, at least theres a present worth remembering.

| I wish tucson AZ had a scene. All the kids around there with boats just wake surf. Its a freaking epidemic at my lake. I have only ever seen 1 other boat with skates in the racks rather than surfs. |

jcoffey, Where you at man? I've had Oury helping me out basically since i started, and man it's been great. I owe a lot of thanks to him. It's awesome having someone who's better than you, or at your same level, learning with you and helping you progress. Two people = Twice the stoke _________________ - Evan Molina |

I love riding with people better then me or about the same because they either push you our we can push each other. Gets me so pumped to see new tricks go down. Also i do enjoy riding with younger kids who are just starting and landing small things gets me pumped and gives me a sence of satisfaction that i am able to teach them. Giving lessons is fun |

| Ive been taking a new friend out lately that is progressing quite rapidly. The kids style and aproach to riding are very similiar to hampsons in that he does some tricks goofy and some tricks regular. He says he cant tell a difference in riding either way just prefers to do his wake jump and 180 type tricks regular and his shuv and technical tricks goofy. In his first three times wakeskating he has learned shuvs, boardslide big spin outs, 180s and frontboard shuv outs. |

If you want more people to ride with you should go recruit some skateboarders at your local skate park. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

fo sho... Im just worried about being a 32 year old single male at a skate park asking kids if they want to go out on a boat. I think it would be pretty weird |

Ive got this kid i skateboard with like 3 times a week now. he's the greatest skateboarder ive ever ridden with. and ive been skateboarding all over the world for 20 years.
I was just getting him going on the water and then sold our boat. once this kid gets his base down WATCH OUT. Our winch is in the works right now and we'll get him back out ther soon.
I wont let him just go out and huck tricks either. Im trying to be like "hoosiers" and teach him the basics so his style isn't shallow and lame. Hes only 17 and humble as hell. he's gonna pass me by and then im gonna learn from him.
