Getting a tattoo next week. I was just wonderin if anyof you guys had any and if you could post some pics to give me some ideas. It will be on my back by the way.

my god, I went and checked out all of those shiznackle tattoos and they were hilarious. It is amazing those things ended up on someone's skin.

If you are serios about getting a tattoo, heed my advice. Get no advice, at least on what to get. That should be a completely %100 personal issue. I have many tattoos anda left sleeve. Do the shizzle for yourself. Unless you really dig tribal don't get any. Reasons: jocks and fighters get that shizzle. plus guys who think it makes them look tough or cool. You'll get harrased and have shizzle talked behind your back by most reputable tattooists and collectors. I personally dig lots of vibrant color. New school shizzle. I have some tribal I got earlier on. I do regret it, but it was a learning experience. Stay away from small complicated stuff. it will blur and blend as you age. One thing too. tattoos are addictive. There is a good chance you'll get alot more. If you choose to expand you might want to get sleeves, back pieces, chest peices and so forth. Maybe get something that you'll be able to blend easily. Like a theme. Japanese style, or evil, religious or what have you.

The main thing, imagine yourself alot older. you'll raise kids with your tattoos, so you'll have to educate them early. Your grandkids too. People will judge you like stupid people always do.

Do it for yourself and only for yourself.

a little more time spent now to decide what you really want......

Or mike and ikes.

Or maybe the lib tech character (definitely get it with the fang--he's supposed to be a fire man).

Or some blimey sailor (I don't know what blimey means. isn't that rubbish?)

savagegarrick, Thanks man thats some really good advice, and I really appreciate it. I know its got to be my choice and something I really like. I was just looking for some ideas to build off of. I have probalby been looking around for a few months now, and havnt really seen anything I really liked until a few days ago. And what I found you kinda shot down lol. I was thinking about a small tribal tattoo on my back right shoulder. Not cause im a jock or a fighter or think im a bad ass or anything I just like the way it looks.

Like in this spot in this pic I found on the internet.

But with this design.

What do you think about that?

I know, I have been trying to think of something that really means something to me but I can't. That is why I havn't gotten one yet. I have been wanting one for about 2 years now, but like I said I can't think of anything I want to get tattooed on me that really really means something.

if you want to get a tribal it just means you really havent put thought into want you want. i would suggest looking at art work that you like instead of looking at others tattoos for some ideas.
