One of the worst things in life to me is when my landline rings late at night as I realize it is some sheisty solicitor.

Lately I have been picking up the line, waiting a second, then yelling as loud as I can into the receiver.

What do you do?

if it isnt a machine i put them in a dangerous situation where they are stuck on the phone talking to a "freak" threatening to slice 3 kittens Ears off.

Or i Start hitting on them.

Or i Totally act like i want to buy what they are offering, and than say if they can call me back on my cell phone because of a "loud buzzing noise in the phone"
and give them the rejection,suicidal, or transvestite partnering hotlines.

dont think of solicitors as inconviences,but as an amazing opportuninty to create the climax of your day.

i also enjoy randomly in mid coversation start telling them jokes (normally racial) or a dream i had the previous night.

i ask if i can put them on hold, then i just set the phone down (still connected) and leave, they usually hang up after about 10minutes

i always ask them if they are working in a building, then when they answer yes i tell them to go the roof and jump off.

i tell them to wait and set the phone down and wait till they hang up. i've also heard that when its a machine if you keep pressing either 6 or 7 it will screw with it and it wont be able to make anymore calls.
