Yesterday I was snowboarding, and I tried a FS board slide on a box.... unfortunately I have been practicing on a picnic table at home and I leaned way to far foward..... So I'm not sure of the details of what happened, but I remember my head bouncing off the box, thinking I had a dream where that happened, then thinking I was psychic, and then laying on my face and my uncle and cousin coming over to see if I was O.K.

I was seeing stars for the next couple runs, but I was well enough to start hitting rails again right away so I don't think its a concussion. But my ear started swelling up like right away, and in about 2 hours it had atleast doubled in normal size. And I woke up thismorning and it is still swollen. Is this maybe cauliflower ear? Do I need to go to the doctor? because I would like to avoid doctor visits as much as possible.

Le Jalapeno, go to the doctor buddy. I'm just an EMT so I dont really diagnos stuff, but blunt trauma to the head is an emergency..especially if you lost consciousness and dont remember what happened.

Well I went to the doctor, and they said they didn't have to drain it or anything, but the swelling shouldn't go down for like 2 weeks Crying or Very sad

so I guess my hand and the bottle are going to be my 2 best friends for the next 2 weeks Wink

If the doc cleared you, forget about it and try again.
This time stomp it out.
