i dont know if this has been posted or not buttt..
Drive on FuelTV with Mike V is just soooooo inspirational.
weather your a skater or not, from every thing he says you can relate to.
and i think its like that with every action sport.
its just really cool to see someone who has reached the tops point of view.
its really inspirational and just makes me want it even more.
i love it.
and i cant skate to shabby!

col101, i saw that the other day and i thought it was soo full of crap. I personally don't like his style, i wanna see flip tricks not hand plants with twirling the board around.
When i watch skateboarding i want to see Ryan Sheckler or who ever, nailing insane mind blowing tricks, not some old washed guy trying to make some bucks to pay for his hospital bills.

I agree.....I kind of feel the same way about Terje (snowboarding). Old School Legends like to keep to their stock tricks in their old age. I respect it, but at the same time am a bit put off by it. Is it not better to burn out than to fade away???? In action sports, when you're not progressing, you're simply occupying space that can be filled by someone else. IMO
I am seriously on the fence when it comes to Mikey V. I just have a really hard time taking him seriously as a bonevalent sage who shares wisdom with the youth when I can also see footage of him kicking the sha-it out of other people.
He can just get a little too preachy for me at times....

i watched it like 7 times, once you've seen like three episodes you've seen it all, they seem all the same but he goes to a diff crowd of kids each time.
