So I finished fixing my winch, for now, and I'm bringing it back up to orlando with me so I can ride. I've got a few spots in mind to check out, like baldwin park, (I know, I read the thread but F the Police), and some little ponds and stuff around UCF. But I really wana test my winch out at a decent gap, looking for something near campus like half hour drive or so. If you got anything feel free to tell me, if you do and wana ride we can meet up and I'll give ya a pull.

If theirs no signs for no trespassing they cant do anything..i talked to a cop i know and theirs no laws about winching Very Happy

ya we've had a few run ins, back home here and they're usually like wtf is that? and say it's cool unless homeowners call or something (neighborhood backyard retention pond session).

the bad thing about trying to let them know theres no laws against it is usually there is a lil greenery in the car and so i try to avoid pissing them off Smash

i'm assuming so, private property is a different story, i wana hit the reflection pond in front of the library on campus, it would be so sweet, but it'd have to go down quickly under the cover of darkness. When we built the winch we made a solemn swear, if the police come, save the winch, even if it means getting shot.

Thats a sick spot..the golf course is private property and we got caught fishing their alot at night and they cant do anything except kick us off because they have no signs.they have never caught us winch their though.

it's more like a ditch, down baldwin park st. on your right when you pull in off north semoran, i'm saying this and i've only looked at this place on google earth, 28o 34' 31.47" North 81o 18' 47" W or so, if you have GE check it out, might be fenced off, not sure.

Soulprogression, In all honesty I would just stay away from baldwin park, the first gap in there has practically no start up room and the second gap is like a 2 foot drop if that, let alone the lady who called the cops on us told us that she had already called the cops on us kids once before. Its a whole bunch of old people, so just a heads up. You can head up 50 and go hit Pine Creek but that is also only a 2foot drop which your landing into 2 - 3 feet of water with cement bottom =/. You could always go hit blanchard but we looked at that 2 days ago and with all the rain believe it or not it was only 2-3 ft high rather than 6-7ft.

damn, well thanks for the heads up, maybe we'll try metrowest. this isn't looking good, though i really don't care to go big today, got a tweaked shoulder, and two damaged knees from skating, just wanted to test the winch off a nice gap somewhere. Might just stick to something around here, but there's no one around to ride with right now, everyone's out of town or working, dilemma...
