'tis not a bible, but it is an amazing work indeed...

I don't know if people are writing off this film because it has wakeboarding in it or what. But Oakley is serious shizzle, so when they commit to making something, it's full on (you need to check out the community project if you have not already seen it). Plus, matty swanson is well versed in the world of boardsmen and how to make a lasting impression, and I feel his expertise influenced his team in the best way because every single one of them made the most of the time they had, considering a fair majority of them were out with injuries during the filming process (with danny topping the list with the most days out).

Add in the fact that oakley has an incredibly tallented team with their own motivation and you have one of the most progressive films, complete with a fantastic vibe.

the community project is the video that showcases the oakely snowboarding team. It's pretty unreal...for me, it's not something I can fully relate to because it's so beyond what I do and where I ride (like travis rice doing these crazy inverts off of a crane bucket, or whatever it's called, well out of a quarter pipe), but I guess it's an example, or the best example, of oakley making an amazing video, just from dedicating themselves to filming in unique locations and capturing some stunning footage, to having an incredibly tallented team. Our life was OK (I just wasn't feeling the vibe), but to me it just didn't quite match up with the community project...that film is in a league of its own.

And I will say that i like push process more than the skate film, but of course, 'tis i and i alone.

nate_, You should be. V6 is great as long as you put on some music that you like while watching it.
