The article by/on Thomas Horrell in standerd 1.4 is nothing short of amazing, if you haven't read it, I definately suggest you check it out.

I've been dying to read it. I'm hyped too because if anyone deserved that, he did.

Danny hampson also has the cover, right?

electricsnow, yeah sunset background with Danny hitting a flatbar, amazing shot. There's also a really good article by Aaron and Danny as well.

that cover shot reminds me of danny's first cover with alliance back in 2003.

All in all, it sounds like a bangin' issue.

maybe a local shop if they carry them, otherwise check out www.standerdstore.com ( http://www.standerdstore.com/ ). You can either subscribe or they sell individual issues. They're a bit more expensive, but well worth it. It's a high quality periodical with minimal ads and it presents a great reflection of the lifestyle and each respective artform.

The Standerd is the best magazine out right now, it's definately worth the price.

Weird.. I still haven't received my first 3 issues.

that is strange. I'd contact someone there, for sure. I can say that my shipment time has been very inconsistent. I recieved the first two issues really late, probably close to a month after they were released, and then I received issue 1.3 soon after I attended the launch party, probably within a week of that.

I can only hope that this issue will arrive as promptly as 1.3.

ya i just got to read 1.2 and 1.3, and wow, incredable photography. I was VERY stunned and amazed. I cant wait to read 1.4 Smash

electricsnow, Yea I've sent multiple emails that ended up with no replies. I won the subscription in like June. I was supposed to get a signed premier issue and a poster print, too. I got the first email asking which one I wanted and then never heard back from anyone. No big deal, it just bothers me when companies sponsor contests/events and don't follow through with their end of the deal.
