For any riders that want to have a chance to compete in a non-pro tour event you should check out the International Novice Tour (INT). This year INT will offer a wakeskate division for the US National Championships in CA. You have to win your state tour to have an invite to nationals, but you also have the oppertunity to ride against others in your state. INT is broken down by states, so contact your local state cord. for information.

States are listed on www.INTLeague.com

INT is set on a point scale by tricks. Ollie= 100 Shuvit= 300 w2w=ect. .
You have one run to throw 12 tricks total. A run consist of two passes (one going and one coming back). You can throw 6 tricks per pass (6 going and 6 coming back). You are juged by the trick you do, how well you do it, and how your run flows. All of these are added up plus your style points (how clean the over all run is) to give you a final score.

There will be two maybe three divisons if enough riders are present (novice, intermediate, advanced). If not then it will be a wakeskate open for all riders/ levels. This may vary by your state cord. and participation of riders.

As you may see not every state will have an INT Tour so if you want to ride in INT you may have to travel to another state. I am going to be doing the AR and MS tours this season and maybe a few others if I have time with repping. TX and LA do not have an INT Tour this is why I have to travel.

Forgot to add most states pull the event with a wakeboard boat (Nautique, Master Craft, etc.) that will be sacked out for andvanced riders or dry for novie riders. Only a state or two is pulling with pwc and only a few may have rails/ kickers if any.

im from MN and i emailed my coordinater but i guess i still have a couple more questions for ACE, i know that some of these you may not be able to answer but , do falls count? if you are behind a boat wouldnt that change the judging criteria with w2w stuff?

You have 2 falls. Upon your second fall you will be picked up by the pick up boat or pwc and your run will be over.

The only reason that I know of an INT event pulling riders by pwc is because they were in novice class. Thus the wake not being needed for some one doing novice tricks. If your an intermediate -advanced rider then you will be pulled by a boat for use of the wake.
