Sup everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know there might be an easy way to build pool gaps. I'm not sure what everyone is using now, and I mean from do-it-yourselfers to the rail jams, or how much it costs, but I might have an easy way to build a pool. I'm still working on the logistics of it all, but check out the few I've done.

http://orlandowakeboard.com/wp-gallery2.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=1150&g2_GALLERYSID=5f6cd33e7b949d65df47bb1e0fd348e8

Take a look at some of the pictures that show the barriers. They are super light, connect together, and when filled with water, won't budge. They are 6 ft. long, and are three diffferent heights, 18", 32" and 46". As you can see in the pics, I used the 18"s for the pool and the 46" for a rail. I have plans to build a big start pool with the 46" to gap to 18" to gap to lake. The possibilities are endless.

I built each of those pools in under an hour, by myself. My connection to them is that my father sells and rents them. As far as rentals go, they drop off and pick up, so its super convenient, I just don't know if the per day rental is more expensive than the materials used for a gap. What do people spend on gaps? How much does the hay or wood cost?

I'm honestly trying to figure out a way to make it easier for people to build gaps. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,

our pool gap was...

free dumpster wood
40 bucks for a tarp
50 bucks for a sump pump
30 bucks for fiberon
and little stuff like screws and duct tape

but it worked like a charm...

Yodock's are expensive to buy. What do they cost to rent in Orlando?

Yeah they are expensive to buy. They are much cheaper to rent, between $1-$2 a day, but the problem is he has a 15 day minimum. That's what I'm working on. I'm wondering if people would rent them if they were a little cheaper, or maybe a 5 day minimum. 20-22 18" barriers makes a perfect start pool. I'm trying to work with my dad on these to possibly work out a deal for specifically wakeboarders and wakeskaters that want pool gaps. Check out what they offer at www.yodock.com

If there is enough interest, I might be able to get them really cheap for you all. Let me know what you think.

Drew,
I can have a gap built in a day, so when you get some free time, let me know and we'll build something. Hope the shop is going well.

Chrishau,
Dary is the man! Hes been down with us a couple times a year for a few years now. He is seriously so talented!!!
