wakeskate regular skateboard goofy...

hey i have a little problem... i wakeskate, surf, and do everything besides skateboard regular... but i skate goofy... does anyone else have this problem?? and can you help me w/ some tips and stuff...

just do what ever feels comfortable to u i skated regular for a while before i realized i was better at goofy, but that was in liek 2nd grd...

lyle11, A bunch of my friends are like that. The best thing to do is use it to your advantage.

Get comfortable doing the basics on a wakeskate both ways, and then learn some of the basics on a skateboard regular. It's only going to make you better at riding and skating, and you can really get a unique take on things since you'll be comfortable both ways.

Just watch Danny Hampson. He does everything regular but skateboards goofy too, and he's AMAZING at wakeskating.

not too much cross training between skating and wakeskating for me... other than switchidness

my friend is like that kinda, he does any sport he is strapped in (wakeboard and snow board) regular, but unstrapped he is goofy like skateboardin, wakeskating and surfin.

ya man, it sucks because personally im not too comfortable riding switch but if u have no switch then, cutting and slashes u can get so much style....ride both ways

First off, what sport did you first start off doing? It is really strange that you do 2 of them differently. I did every sport before wakeboarding and then I finally made it to wakeskating, which now I due exclusively. Riding regular doing everything else, made me naturally go regular on the wakeskate. The 1st few times I tried to go switch I ate shizzle right away and I still wipe out riding switch quite a bit. Maybe you've been given an extremely cool gift of balance i dunno, but I say learn everything the way is easiest and then once u got it down start to practice switch.

ya i skateboard right footed and do everything else regular, i dont really think it matters. i suck at riding switch on a skateboard and a wakeboard so i dont understand it but as long as it works
