Looks like Nike is pulling out of snow, and their instagram has now turned into "nikewakeskating" Does this mean they have pulled out of wakeBOARDING?

Thoughts?

I love nike gear but this makes sense. I mean they started as a shoe company so it makes sense to stick to sports they make SHOES for. I guess boots in snowboarding are a form of shoe, but I guess not being in wakeboarding is alright with me...

It seems like they slowly made their team entirely wakeskaters. Kevin Henshaw and Steel Lafferty used to be nike's wakeboarders, and neither one of them rep the swoosh.

Nike wake is all wakeskating now. As we stopped making board shorts it only made sense to stick with the athletes that wore the product i.e. shoes. There are many press releases regarding Nike's position on snowboarding, but as for Nike's involvement in wakeskating everything is looking up. The current team is Nick Taylor, Ben Horan, Andrew Pastura, Austin Pastura, and Yan Lecomte.
