hey every one, been some time since ive been on a posted.

and happy thanks giving.

welll i came upon this IMO perfect gift idea today and figuered id share.

its called the " MRBeer delux home micro brewry kit"

and for about 40$ you can buy a home brewing kit and make different sorts of lagers ,ales, stouts and every other kind of beer recipes they sell on the site.

they sell the smallest kit which lets you make up to 20, 12oz
bottles, and the pro kit which lets you make up to 6 gallons, and all kits are re usable.

i got one of those. its pretty dam cool. you can get a bunch of different mixes. well worth it. downside is it takes a few weeks until its done.

natty is cheaper and more alcohal... you cant afford NOT to buy it, and ive ben drinking it for a while so ive come acustom to it, i didnt like it at first. but its awsome now <3 i dont even like natty light ne more.

my roommates make homebrew. if you have enough carboys and are on top of things you can have five gallons of beer a week for cheep. all they need is a keggin system so they dont have yeast hanging around in their botles

in chemistry we got to make strait alcohol (brewed with just sugar and yeast) and me and a buddy were joking around about buying a distillation kit and making our own underground moonshyne ring. My chem teacher overheard us and said "make LSD, its cheaper" then laughed and walked away

me and a buddy brewed our first ever batch of beer 3 weeks ago, and will prob continue to do do evert few weeks, since it turned out so good. we went with a belgian tripel, which came out to be 10%, and is quite tasty. it was 5 gallons and we filled 25 of the 22oz size bottles. this time next year, i plan on having a huge stock pile of some of the best beers. you are right- it's not about how cheap it is (but when you do the math and consider the alcohol %, you cant beat it), the glory of drinking YOUR OWN BEER is priceless.

and by the way, these cheap american lagers you guys speak of shouldn't even be considered beer. more like fermenated lake water, haha. but seriously, you guys should brew some real beer. you won't be disappointed (unless you dont use sterile stuff, then you'll be rather pissed when it doesnt turn out b/c you got lazy)
