You should get the transgression DVD if you're interested. They've got some amazing interviews on there...gator's is crazy.

Anyway, I can't remember the exact reasons anymore, but he ended up hating wakeboarding and was struggling with addiction at the time...I think we're amazingly lucky to have him back because his spirit and style are irreplaceable.

kejoz, then I'd say that's the most specific answer you'll ever get. When he most recently left, most people either didn't know why or didn't want to say why he left. I'm guessing it's a pretty sensitive and private matter.
