HELP ME

all of a sudden i cant watch any vids... youtube, myspace, heros on nbc, anything... i think all of those sites use flash player...

ive uninstalled and reinstalled both adobe flash player and firefox so i have the most recen upgrades...

i also checked to make sure java script is on ... and checked my virus protector sites and made sure that flash wasnt blocked...

im not an idiot with computers but i have been trying for days to get this working with little success...

ive also googled some things trying to get info on this subject and still cant seem to find any strait answers... i think this happened when i updated firefox but still have no idea..

please help!

I thought you were buying a Mac. If you did that, you wouldn't have this problem because Apple's are flawless in every way known to mankind.

but im trying to hold off buying one until xmas... but if i cant fix this damn brick i may be gettin one much much sooner

ps.. i just found out i can save a few hundred bucks on a mac book cause im a UF student and UF has some deal with apple or something... alot of colleges have this discount deal for their students... you should check it out on the apple site to see if your eligible

Chea bra. I got like 300 off mine and like 150 off the applecare warranty plan or whatever. Not like you need it though because my mac owns planet earth and I have a widget that controls planetary orbit.

MrMarbles, videos do not work on IE

and that link says Adobe Flash Player is installed version 9,0,47,0 installed successfully

Are you on home or school network? Could it be a school firewall issue? Do vids at popshuv work?

home... i have my own network...

popshuv vids work.. and i can watch myspace and youtube vids if the are embedded ... like i can watch vids if they are on someones myspace or something... but not on youtube or myspace tv... and i cant watch the episodes of heros i missed on nbc.com Sad

also google vids work but youtube vids on google dont work.. if that makes sense...

wtf thats so weird. its not a flash issue if popshuv vids work. are you using adblock for firefox? maybe they're getting blocked there.

that happend to me, but recently i got a new norton anti virus and as soon as i installed it everything worked perfectly.... so i donno what to tell you, re-install your anti virus if you have one... or...... how long till your subscription is over? i donno thats just what fixed mine and i wasnt even meaning to,... when everyoen put new vids up, id run into my roomates room and be like YO! wakeskating.com beach!

i had norton antivirus that was out of date so i just uninstalled it... although i dont have any antivirus anymore at least i can watch vids... thanks man
