College Wakeskate Teams

What colleges have wakeskate teams and do any actually give scholorships cause i heard that UCF was thinking about it.

Any info you know of would be helpful.

they have teams but nobody i have heard of gives scholarships

bochner, i don't think anyone gives scholarships... but i have seen teams from LA, all over texas, oklahoma, etc.

wakeaddicted247, a scholor ship or a team, cuz alot of schools have teams, im just wonderin bout scholorships, although i doubt it especially for skating.

yeah my cousin goes to florida state university he is on a wake team. i know uf has one and im pretty sure ucf has one also. ucf would sick cuz its in orlando. where everything wake related is in florida

but they hav a wakeboarding y wakeskating team..
hav u checked to see if there were any schools in orlando doin that?

i know ucf has a team and so does fsu and uf but i hant raelly looked in to it, im still like 3 years away.

pretty positive they won't give scholarships for that mainly because it is not an actual college team, more like a club type team. Well thats how it is at UT and most of the other texas teams.

hey if you ever need to get in contact with univeristys in florida or have questions regarding Wake clubs/ teams in college let me know...dont worry about college if your 3 years out. youll blow out your knees before then and i wouldnt select a college do to its wake team status, its only a club sport and wont help your career afterwards

Almost positive that UCF has a team, but its like part of the wakeboard team, which is cool if you like strappers, havn't got to meet very many people with in it yet, just know they have a boat and a winch but too many people want to ride so I'm building my own Wink

There are quite a few people that kill though, can't beat central florida for riding.

i know you can go to like the activities/clubs office and do something but what does it really take???
