besides the fact that there's nothing in commen? a bi-level is made of 2 decks put together so that when u ollie there is a snap when u push down. the byerly concave is made to feel like a skateboard. it is opinion if u like one over the other.

I am not saying which is better because i have never ridden a byerly, so i have no opinion of it.

ian b.c.b, I would just search through these forums for like 3 days and read everything you can about all of the different boards. That question has no real answer. The duece pop is a bi-level. The doyle is a composite and the oak is wood. All three are completely different types of wakeskates. Each have different pros/cons. Do some research and try to ride as many boards as you can. Don't ask what we like because everyone on here has different preferences.

to be honest after riding god knows how many diff types of boards this summer ive come to the conclusion its not about if its a bi, legacy, concave, flat etc. the rocker pattern and shape is what makes the board ride like it does. Also no one board will feel the same for every person, everyone has a different riding syle and different abilities, test some boards out and find out what works for you.

PS. If you find a good legit shop by you or get in contact with a rep they're usually willing to loan you a board to test out just be mature about it.
