getting chilly/dark early but im a year rounder.

My stupid wetsuit ripped right below the zipper. It lets alot of water in, which inter makes me chilly and it ends up in my legs which stretches the stupid thing even more and looks rather funny.

i feel everyone's pain but its actually the best time of year here in Texas where the water is around 82 deg and the air temp is about the same , but what makes it nice is all the wally's think the season is over and are starting to winterize their tube towing machines which means NO BOATS..viva la waterdacing

My season is just starting Laughing I got hurt and didnt get to ride during summer. 56 degrees isnt bad, a 4/3 wetsuit would almost be too much IMO. Winter is my favorite riding time actually. lots of glass and barely any boats are on the water.

winter = rain = winch spots Very Happy

Last year I started riding in NOV and road every weekend, every month. The Trick is a 4-3 wetsuit, Bootys, GLoves, and somedays you need a Hood., best of all a winch. Plus Propane Heaters are a must, for the winch drive and anyone shooting pic or film. You'll see it all in my New video I'm editing now and should (hope) to be done Nov ish

OTT Productions, Mr OTT is hard core. He taught me the ways of propane heaters and dumping hot water from thermoses into your wet suit in order to stay warm.

The coldest water i've rode in was around 36 degrees i think. some of the coves on the delta were icing over.. the water left on the ski from the day before was frozen solid.

Cold water isnt a big deal, you just need wetsuit socks, and some nice 2mm gloves... then you can be warm and toasty. I surf in 50 degree water year around, and on the coldest days you just wear a hood... with the right gear you can ride all year and be comfortable.

wakemitch,

Hola senior. see you tonight at the lake.
