does liquid force make cassette?

hey, i was wondering if liquid force makes cassette wakeskates, cuz i was lookin at a cassette and a liquid force, and they look identical except for the graphics? thanx for your help

cassette is the own company, isn't LF `03 board just a `02 cassettes

wakebadass, LF doesn't make cassettes but there boards are very alike... there basicly just like the 03 cassettes.... the 04 cassettes are different....

so your sayin cassette makes LF, or LF just copys the old cassete design for their boards. how would an 04 LF concave compair to a 03 cassette 3-D

LF and Cassette are two different companies, LF copied the old cassette board. wakebadass, the 04 and the 3D are the basically the same board, che blanc, correct me if I'm wrong

they didn't copy them they bought them from cassette and they were also basically one company at the same time.

not to offend or piss off anyone...but i wouldnt be shocked to see that LF actually did make cassette and just kept it under wraps....therefore they get double the money and crap....i was thinking kinda like how ford owns volvo...you think your buying a volvo but your really just getting an expensive ford.

Those two companies are separate, and they always have been. The reason cassette and LF were together was because LF had a distribution deal with cassette.

Freerider, where did you hear that Lf bought the cassette molds (or whatever you're referring to)? And that's a serious, genuine question, so don't take it the wrong way. I just never heard that one, and it didn't sound like that was the case last summer. But who knows...

yea, they own obrien and lf, not lf and cassette (they may own some others as well but not cassette), heres what I heard,

I heard that lf somehow had rights to the cassette designs, so when lf stopped distributing cassette, they started producing their own version

Yeah slyder, kent has a vested interest in hyperlite, LF, obrien, jobe, and maybe one more.

wakeriderof87, they probably had rights (I dont' know how official this is) because I think they helped design a little bit...I think the concave was one of them. And by official, I mean if it was in a contract or something like that. Whatever, i'm not buying one anyway.

Cassette and lf have their boards pressed at the same plant thats why both of their 04 had problems and Lf did distribute for us, thats all no ownership. The new 04 are shipping within this week. So rush to your local shop and support Cassette the FIRST wakeskate company.

Thomas horrell and wakeskate.com put out the first cassettes. Then thomas paired up with LF, where they'd distribute his boards (I don't know what kind of rider's contract he had with them, but he did rock their gear up until their split last year....now it's straight thruster!! ha)

Seriously, thomas had some "alone time" between mutiny and LF.
