Someone left this 39 on my boat, rides okay but it sits high in the water an its a bit loose, the grip tape is BRUTAL. Its chipped up but I dont think the person that owned it cared for it much, I think it got banged up in a truck bed... Smash

TGTINT, pretty much all of the byerly's did that.. they had a recall on them because so many boards were chipping on the top of the decks..

I can ollie like a mug with it, but I am fairly new to this and its the only board I ride much on. I tried a Devotid concave the other day and that spun much easier. Sat a little lower and felt lighter, quite honestly when you have access to one board you get used to it an make it happen.

hondo, a board isnt going to help you with your ollies. and plus a lot of people find the byerly awkward to ride. when i rode it i didnt even stand on the kick tails because it was too weird

I was just like everyone else, anti Legacy. But after being tired of having to buy a new deck every 2 months. I broke down and purchased this so called indestructible skate, in the form of 07 Legacy 42. Now I wish I had purchased one right from the begining. This board is sick. I ride an average of 20 hours a week. Rails, kickers, boat, and a lot of Cable and winching, and this board works great on all of it. Excellent on rails. Spins are excellent as well, with more kick to the nose and tail, it seems to stick to your feet a lot better. Shuv's and big spins become easier, I think mainly in part that you can use the higher tail to your advantage. You can just flip off the side of the tail, which in turn spins the board faster with a lot less effort. Kickflips are now fun and predictable. With the kick in the nose and tail as well as the concave sides you can make this board do some crazy stuff. Not gonna let the cat out the bag quite yet. Ohh and did I mention how much pop this board has both on flat water and wake to wake. People can say what they want about a board not making your ollies better, but I beg to differ, to a certain point. Immediately that was the first thing I noticed about the board, don't know if so much the kick on the nose and tail or the fact that the waist width and channels on this board it WIIIIDDDEEE! Gaps I used to struggle on have become easier. I ride with no fins and the board is still not lose, the channels do their job, and do it well. I have been riding the 42 now for a little over 1 month, and like I said I ride an average of 20 hours a week. The only signs of wear are on the bottom graphics are dull and not shinny anymore(board seems to slide even better as this happen) and some paint chipping on the nose and tail. The newest ones have a kinda Rino Liner(truck bed lining) on them instead of paint. But that is it, and I hit a lot of rails, rails, even concrete type rails when winching. I have ridden Bi Levels, wood deck, composites, and this is my favorite. The closest board to having the amount of pop as the Legacy in my opinion would be my Gator Pro Model 42, or my Duece Pop. Take their pop and double it, and that's how this board feels to me. A lot less effort, to do the same or more. Sorry I'm rambling, but just had to give my input. Hopefully some people that have been brain washed about it being heavy and not a good board will give it a chance. Heck Scott rides it himself, should tell you something right there.

LOL! Just a figure of speech. There's a lot of people who dog the Legacy's. I was brain washed for a while by these people. Luckily I have seen the LIGHT! LOL

Oh and one other thing you can look forward to with the Legacy is the fact that you will be able to get another one whenever needed. Unlike some other board companies out there. And looks like they aren't changing them anytime soon. So the 08 is the same, at least til the middle of 08. I hate getting used to a board, liking it, then breaking, or simply tearing it up, then not being able to get another of the same.

I like my legacy, but i found i had more fun riding my integ.
I learned so many w2w tricks on that legacy, but i found i progressed more behind a ski on my integ and the integ was more playful and more fun to ride in general, and i relearned all the w2w tirkcs on the integrity after. The Legacy is a really good board just didn't work enough for me to be my go to deck.

The kicktails on the legacy are a little much. If I put my left foot flat on the kick tail and my right foot mid board, it throws my hip out of socket. YIKES, However i do love the way it pops
